Description
A captivating tropical accent in garden beds or containers, the Bengal Tiger Canna Lily illuminates with both its foliage and flowers. Upright stalks of big, bold and striking green and yellow striped leaves contrast magnificently with the iris-like bright orange flowers perched atop tall and sturdy stems during summer into fall. This hardy Canna Lily is a true show-stopper on its own or paired with other flowering or foliage plants for a colorful display.

Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing 4 to 6 feet tall and 2 to 4 feet wide, the Bengal Tiger Canna Lily is ideal for use as an accent or in groupings or rows in the sunny landscape or as a solo or centerpiece in container gardens, which can be overwintered indoors in locations north of USDA Zone 7. It’s taller stature makes it a great choice as a background in perennial gardens or flowerbeds. A fine addition to tropical look gardens, orange theme gardens, perennial gardens and hummingbird gardens.
Spacing:Â 2 feet for mass plantings or as a solid border edger; 6 feet or more for space between plants
Growing Preferences
When planted right and in the right spot, Canna Lilies are exceptionally easy to grow. Though they will perform well in a wide range of soil types and conditions, cannas prefer a moist but well-drained soil of average fertility. Full to mostly sun is preferred however plants will tolerate some lightly filtered sun. We suggest at least 6 hours of direct sunlight for best flowering. Canna Lilies don’t require deadheading but the removal of spent flowers keeps the blooms coming through the season.

Ordered this 3G Canna for a quick shot of color for my new Orange butterfly bed in late June. I have always grown cannas from the barefoot (rhizome) This plant has beautiful variegated leaves.
